  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 2-4 tbsp. cocoa or cacao powder
  • 2-3 tbsp. grade B maple syrup
  • ½ tsp. vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt, optional
  • Garnish: cacao nibs, berries, chopped nuts

Avocado Chocolate Mousse Directions

  1. In the bowl of a blender or food processor, blend avocado until smooth. Add all other ingredients, blending until mixture is uniform. Chill for about 2 hours in the fridge or half an hour in the freezer.
  2. Garnish.
